Team Spotlight: Sandy Mai
Meet Sandy Mai, Labour Coordinator at Bespoke Audio Visual!
“In a very short amount of time, Sandy has established herself as an indispensable member of the Bespoke team. Her organization and attention to detail help her excel as a Labour Coordinator. It’s her ability to recognize and understand the uniqueness of each individual person that sets her apart.” Steve Dyne, Director of People & Culture
What do you like most about being on the Bespoke Audio Visual team?
I’ve only been with Bespoke for a couple of months, but so far – the people! You can tell how willing everybody is to help each other out; and that you are getting the tools for success.
If you didn’t need sleep, what would you do with your extra time?
Explore – there’s so much out there to experience and see! Maybe work more – or even pick up some new skills because you know, I’m a busy-a-holic. There are so many possibilities of what I could do if I didn’t need to sleep.
Which job do you think you’d be really good at?
I believe I’m already in the kind of job I could get good at. In this position, I get to be in a supporting admin role while getting the opportunity to interact with so many different people (Bespoke staff and our technicians).
When people come to you for help, what do they usually need help with?
To help them figure out things or use my memory. When people are working on a task or thinking about a decision – sometimes they get stuck and they just need someone to talk things out. Or, when they test my memory on the whereabouts of something or need information from a task that was done previously.
What do you wish you knew more about?
Audio production – from editing to producing. Or how to draw!
What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend?
Sleeping in without a care in the world – then hanging with my friends and grabbing something good to eat.
