3 Takeaways from the 2025 Canadian Meetings + Events Expo

The Canadian Meetings + Events Expo (CMEE) is the largest and longest-running tradeshow and conference for meeting and event professionals. The Expo brings together the top suppliers and planners from across Canada looking for opportunities and creating partnerships.

Bespoke Audio Visual attends this event each year as a way to reconnect with business partners and create new connections. We are always looking to create partnerships with other event professionals so we can help our clients create incredible events.

Here are 3 takeaways from the 2025 Canadian Meetings + Events Expo.

1. Spotlighting Our Work

We love participating in CMEE each year because it provides us with a platform to spotlight our work. Much of the work we do is behind-the-scenes and isn’t always visible to a larger audience. We love what we do and are proud to showcase our portfolio to others—especially our peers.

2. Making Connections

As much as equipment is important in our business, the conversations we had with past and future clients about how we can work with them was well received. Reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones is always a highlight from these events.

3. The Presentations

The speakers at CMEE offered a wide range of subjects. From gender equality to building a brand—all of the presentations were given by professionals in the event industry. One of our favourites was the From URL to IRL: Digital Strategies that Drive Events panel. The Hall of Fame was a nice added touch and recognized individuals who have made a difference in the event community.
